synergy_logoGolf Genius Software has been named the official tournament software of Synergy Golf League, the only nation-wide professional golf league forming teams in cities across the country.

"One of our concerns before launching Synergy Golf League was how we were going to track all of the competition and know which golfers are the best of the best," says Noah Bluesky, COO of Synergy Golf League. "We were introduced to Golf Genius Software at the 2014 PGA Show and immediately knew that it was a perfect fit."

Synergy Golf League will be utilizing Golf Genius Software's GolfLeagueGenius cloud-based golf league platform to organize, score and administer over 44,000 qualifying rounds at over 490 golf courses in 49 cities throughout the season.

Organizing Your Next Golf Trip Just Got Easier - Thanks To GolfTripGenius:

XploreLogoFor a golfer, there is nothing like a golf trip. From the moment you start planning your trip, the anticipation of travel, exploration, and fellowship with good friends fuels your excitement. That is of course unless you are the trip caption. You know, that person who is responsible for making the travel arrangements, handling the group始s communications, collecting the money, and determining the daily awards and skin payouts.

Golf Genius Software user Billy Toy shares his power rankings for the Masters. Will his picks prove Genius?

masters-green-jacket-My favorite week of the year is here! Spring has sprung...time to dust off the old green jacket. Here are my power rankings for the 2014 Masters:

11) Zach Johnson (Missed cut):  Yes he is quite consistent this year, but outside of his 2007 win he has two missed cuts and nothing inside the top 20 in the past 7 years.

10) Bubba Watson (Winner, -8):  Also running through tournaments as of late with a win and two second place finishes this year, but much like ZJ outside of his 2012 masters win, he hasn't cracked the top 35 in the last five years. He will make the highlight reel this week, that's for sure, but Augusta is a fickle beast.

Streamsong_1112_374_Red-16_reduced-1800x668-1389124569As the PGA Tour heads to Florida (with a quick detour in Puerto Rico), golf buddy trippers are likely fantasizing about their next golf trip to the Sunshine State. Sure, March can be breezy from Jacksonville to Naples, but the temperatures are sure to be a huge improvement over the frigid climes where most of us have been holed-up for the past few months.

plantation-imgAs winter weather continues to wreak havoc from Dallas to Boston, the only tropical escape we have is on the television. Tuning in to PGA Tour events week after week, we see swaying palms, emerald fairways and the sparkling sunshine. I don’t know about you, but from the kick-off in Kapalua to the upcoming Florida swing in early March, I’m dreaming of a golf getaway somehow, someway. Maybe my cell will ring today with a magic invitation, or more likely I’ll have to start some fantasy planning on my own, and the PGA Tour schedule provides destination inspiration.
